You can make builds costs zero, fly like superman and even instantly kit yourself with gear for a specific biome with a single command and SO much more. There are many bad habits you have likely developed in your time playing Valheim that could be worsening your experience. Surprisingly though, the first creature you encounter, the greyling, is one of the few exceptions without a trophy drop. Hard to believe, but after a little more than half a decade, Valheim has finally left early access.
In this video, I will share with you how to enable these cheats and walk you through my personal favorites! However, what is lesser known is how these sources of resistance interact when combined. In fact, the first you will likely acquire is the boar with a 15% drop rate. According to the developers, the game is considered feature complete with the addition of the Deep North, the final biome of the game.
To enable cheats on steam, navigate to your game library, cycle to valheim, right click on it and hit properties. That Gjall is going to do twice the normal damage to you. Weirdly, this is the only trophy in Valheim with exactly this drop chance. It's been a long road to get here, but you can now play Valheim from start to finish.

From there, open the default tab and type the text hypen console in this box and close the window. However, lets take the same situation but this time you have a barley wine active which provides a very resistant status to fire. Considering their abundance, you shouldn’t have any trouble with this one. Rather than combining the 50% reduced damage from the mask and the 75% reduced by the potion to grant immunity. Third, is the most difficult trophy to find in the meadows in the neck with a mere 5% drop rate. It can be relentlessly challenging, but for the most part, it plays pretty fair.

With that out of the way, dive into Valheim and once you’re in game, hit F5 on your keyboard to bring up a console menu. The higher resistance takes priority giving you only the 75% reduced poison damage from the mead. Keep in mind, should you want multiple boss trophies, you can always resummon and defeat them assuming you have the resources to do so. It's a game that isn't especially complicated, but has a whole lot of depth.
Type in the text ‘devcommands’ all one word and you should see the word ‘true’ indicating dev commands have been enabled as well as a warning to use them at your own risk. Transitioning to the black forest you will find 8 trophies to chase down beginning with the plentiful greydwarf with a slight drop chance of 5%. There's a reason why Valheim is so well regarded despite its lo-fi style.
As a rule of thumb with many of these commands, should you ever want to disable them simply type them back into the command window and hit enter. The last thing you want to do is sprint into unknown territory only to be swarmed immediately having burnt all your stamina to get there. Second and third are the greater of the greydwarf clan in the brute and shaman each with 10% drop rates. Wind Rose has all these little features that make base building and crafting a little easier, and Valheim stubbornly refuses to change.
Merch and products
This time, you will see the ‘false’ text appear indicating in this case that devcommands are now disabled. While walking and baiting attacks, you have extra time to let your stamina bar refill. Otherwise, shaman can often be found at small ruins such as these during the day and both shaman and brute also can spawn rarely from nests 24/7. It helps that the actual base building is some of the best in the entire genre.
With that out of the way, lets get into the fun! Stop sleeping on the best defensive tool the game has to offer! Fortunate too as you will need 4 of them in the mistlands to craft the deadraiser staff. The first command I recommend you try is debugmode which when typed effectively enables creative mode giving you 4 powerful keybinds.
Optional, but not necessary, you can add railings to the side to help keep the boar on the ramp. Maybe unsurprising but the ghosts, also found occasionally in chambers do not have any drops including a trophy. First, when pressing the B key text will appear in the top left of your screen to indicate that there is now ‘no placement costs’. You can use any material you want as long as you're covering the ground below where the newborns will fall.
Events
Fifth is the troll while scary has a very high drop rate of 50% and therefore shouldn’t cause much of a headache to get your hands on. When opening your crafting menu you will notice all recipes are now available to you and you can now build any item or place any structure free of cost. The boar will be challenging to position while alert from the skewering, but in about a minute, his alert status will fade and can be more easily manipulated. It does have 10% drop rate but with the creature being uncommon, the trophy can be hard to find.
When done with it, simply hit b to disable its function. You can switch to your hammer in the hot bar while keeping the boar hooked to precisely place a wall piece, cornering the boar at last. These are rare spawns in burial chambers and you can often clear an entire black forest and never encounter one. Second, press k to instantly defeat all creatures in your vicinity.
Some offers pay more, some less, so you can pick the ones that work best for you. Alternatively, and maybe your best chance to get the trophy is from raids. A total number of creatures slain will also be displayed in the top left of the screen. And you can also use the three times boost to triple your rewards.
Tips
Third, the z key will allow you to fly. Once in flight, use the WASD keys to move around, hold shift to move faster and the space bar to rise and ctrl to descend. Fourth, press the L key to remove all loose objects laying on the ground. If you’re anything like me, your base is a MESS and this command allows you to easily tidy up.
From here, I will take you through the BEST devcommands broken into 4 categories but if any point you want to search through them yourself, input the command ‘help’ to display all commands. Otherwise, I will leave a link to the wiki which again provides everything you need to know about console commands. First, we will cover ways you can modify your character. Kicking off with character commands you can change the appearance of your character in three different ways.
One, input the command ‘model’ followed by the number zero or one. Zero will change your character model to male while 1 will change it to female. Two, you can cycle through the different hairstyles available to you. Input the command hair, followed by the hairid that you want.
