valheim bonemass

Learn valheim bonemass in Valheim with this source-backed guide, including where to find it, how to use it, and the best tips from verified community sources.

Quick answer

In fact, the Elder, Bonemass, and even Moder are all closer to your spawn than even Eikthyr. Trinkets are Valheims newest equipable tool that provide massive boosts to your viking but you you’re going to have plenty of options on your journey. Second, two handed hammers can be used to skip bonemass altogether and allow you progress into the mountains. Bonemass's trophy looks far different than it did from the game's original launch.

Keep in mind however, the skeleton surprise can only occur after you defeat bonemass, and shes hot on your tail after returning the brass chest to Hildir. All that said, the best part of the iron mace is how powerful it is against this biomes boss in Bonemass. Blobs, ooze, and skeletons alike are all weak to blunt damage, not to mention, the boss itself bonemass being valheims only boss with physical damage weakness. There are many bad habits you have likely developed in your time playing Valheim that could be worsening your experience.

And typically this is only required when skipping a boss like Bonemass which is a cheat I often recommend to players. Rain for example is a simple one or alternatively, try bonemass to trigger a greening of your environment like when fighting the swamp boss. Combine the berzerkir mead with bonemass’ forsaken power. This is my fight with Yagluth.

Boss basics

Thank god that trash is over. With powerful new trinkets, a brand-new adrenaline system, not to mention, parrying now costs ZERO stamina – the best weapons in the game have changed significantly. And these are just the minimum distances, so you may have to travel way farther than that. This was probably quite difficult, but the next biome, the Ashen Lands, will be much more difficult.

Valheim 1.0 and its last biome, the deep north, have been officially announced. However, there's a catch as you can literally destroy your items entirely with the system. With the release of the Mistellands update, you can now keep boar, wolves, locks, and chickens as your own tamed pets in Valheim. Whether you choose the pierce enhancing wolf sight or bonemass light crystal heart, you can’t go wrong.

Before leaving the swamp you likely will have to usurp Bonemass. Bonemass only gives 25% damage resistance, down from 50, but removes block stamina usage altogether and returns stamina on block. Alternatively, they can spawn rarely at abandoned cottages and since the recent bog witch update, now spawn during the brand new ghosts raid which can occur following the defeat of bonemass. As you progress past the defeat of Bonemass you will unlock the ‘You Stirred the cauldron event which will bring bats down upon you.

Summoning requirements

The reason being that certain raid events can only be triggered after defeating a specific boss and some of the games most annoying like the wolf and drake can only occur with bonemass defeated. While the mead increases the damage you take while drastically reducing your stamina usage, having bonemasses power popped simultaneously, completely nullifies the meads downside making for a super overpowered combination. And I'm going to do a commentary while I'm watching the video myself. Where's the Where's the stuff you get from the boss?

The crystal heart is basically just bonemasses forsaken power in your pocket offering a flat 25% reduction in all physical damage which can come quite handy in a pickle. Prepare a platform at a height just at the base of the eye socket of the bonemasses summoning skull and place core wood at its edge to prevent you from walking off. Ninth of course is from bonemass, spawned in with 10 withered bones. One example of this is with bonemass.

As you can see, I'm walking up to the boss point here. Spent two hours on this [ ] [ ] Valheims latest updated added three brand new skills which are mega powerful at level 100! Bonemass will not be able to hit you here aside from his poison damage.

Fight strategy

Um and I have already collected the statues needed to summon Yagluth. In time, bonemass will be defeated. I am watching for mobs around the spawn point and clearing it before I start the boss fight, which is definitely recommended. Like with bonemass previously, there are cheesy methods to defeat both Moder and Yagluth but this time using bonfires.

Again, as some of the other boss fights, Yagluth spawns at a point and he has a common line phase where you can hit him a lot. And this is what I do. I hit him again and again. And he as you can see, he loses about about 10% to 15% life.

As you can see, he lifts his left arm here and meteors come down. The best place to be when he does this is behind a rock, uh behind uh Yagluth, so that the meteors come flying in from an angle where they will hit the pillar. And this will be shown many times during this fight. And he also does a fire breath that does fire electricity damage, chop damage.

Rewards and drops

And as you can see here, another foolin came in and I finished him off quickly. I will do this like three times in the fight in general. And I'm trying to get as much damage in on Yagluth. While I still have my potion slot.

And here he summons the meteors again. And as you can see they hit the giant pillar. And It's it's one of the good ways to to really deal with Yagluth. It's not you shouldn't use a bow against Yagluth because he's resistant to piercing damage.

So It's kind of a waste of time to do that. He is neutral to slashing damage and spirit damage which why which is why I used a silver sword against him because it had It's technically has the most damage. Even though the black sword has higher slashing damage. Uh The silver sword has also a lot of spirit damage which is helpful for Yagluth.

Tips and mistakes

As you can see I'm I'm burning away his health. You can see setting him on sort of spirit fire. And you can see here I'm having trouble with a foolin. That is kind of a ranged spirit shocker.

And I am trying to take care of him before I go in on the boss again. But decide that I might as well just hit the boss a few times and go behind the pillar. And I take care of the fooling. Which means Yagluth is alone again.

And the blue fire stays for quite a long time, which is why you need to move Yagluth out of it or you'll take continuous damage. And meteors also hurt a lot if you get if you get hit by them. It is a it's it's a pretty tough fight, but with a silver sword it's pretty easy. And he does his uh meteor attack again.
