And before we get into the plains, I want to share with you how you can search for these alt biomes yourselves, as long as you're fine using dev commands.
Command basics

How to use commands
As a rule of thumb with many of these commands, should you ever want to disable them simply type them back into the command window and hit enter. Including, whatever the heck is going on inside this box. This time, you will see the ‘false’ text appear indicating in this case that devcommands are now disabled. But before that, if you learn how to animation cancel, you can take your damage output to a WHOLE other level.

Kicking off with character commands you can change the appearance of your character in three different ways. The first of two ways to execute this is to block cancel. You will notice that when you type the command, the console will populate a list of options to help you autofill your input. To start, hold your block button and keep it held for the duration of the combo, pay special attention to the block stance with your viking holding his arms in front of his face.
Most useful commands
Aside from cosmetic commands you can also type ‘addstatus’ to apply a status effect to you. Approach your target and hit attack, following the attack your character will look to return to his block stance. Before getting into commands that will assist you in combat, if you are ever dissatisfied with your food choices, type ‘puke’ in the console to empty your stomach without the puking animation of bukeperries. The moment they bring their arms to their face, press, and hold your attack button.
Alternatively, if you want to avoid the attention of creatures altogether type ‘ghost’ into the console to become invisible to all enemies. If don’t perfectly you will initiate another 3 attack combo with two of those attacks dealing double damage. However, if you ever do happen to take some damage and find yourself in danger, quickly type ‘heal’ into the console to fully heal your character. The timing for this isn’t very forgiving so you’re best bet is to dive into the game and practice until you have a good feel for it.
Weather commands on the other hand are triggered starting with the ‘env’ command followed by the weather type to start a weather event. Alternatively, you can do the same but instead of holding block, sneak instead. Before getting to my personal favorite commands we must first cover perhaps the most versatile keyword in ‘spawn’. While crouched, you approach and attack.
Cheats and trainers
These commands work to either find the location of a certain, creature, object, or location and ping it on your map while the findtp takes it a step further by teleporting you to that location. This time you will attempt to return to the crouch stance and just as you do, attack and hold again for the same 3 attack combo with 2 of them dealing double damage. Third, and what I often use in getting gear quickly in shooting my videos is the itemset commands. These methods will work best with swords and maces and just cover the basics for animation cancelling in valhiem.

Another underappreciated damage dealer is fire, most certainly the most unintended powerful weapon in Valheim; whether you’re fighting a boss or a common enemy. Fire is one of the rare damage types that can stack and grows exponentially if you can keep a foe within in. To illustrate with a brute, place a fire in their path and walk toward them.
Dodge roll in place to keep them in the fire picking up additional ticks of burning increasing the endured damage. Higher health enemies on the other hand may outlast the durability of the fire. To counteract this, change this keybind to something else, in my case T. This will allow you to dodge while using your hammer so that you can repair the fire as it burns and maintain your ability to dodge.
Tips
This practice can be extended to bosses like the Elder or Yagluth by spamming fires and circling him all while maintaining the fire durability with the hammer. While the campfire can still be used against later biome creatures its damage output begins to falter which is where the bonfire comes in handy. These are best used against larger foes like lox or even seeker and soldiers where after placing, you can manipulate their movement side to side forcing them to brush up against the flame. Bonfires like the campfires can be used to cheese bosses like Moder and Yagluth as well, by combining their powers with number 19 on this list we will cover in a bit.
Another good way to avoid conflict is to leverage two handed hammers area of effect capabilities. When slamming a weapon like the stagbreaker, iron sledge, or demolisher, you do AOE damage to all those near you, even those protected by a wall. This works wonders when surrounded, like from raids but is perhaps best used to bash bugs on the other sides of walls like in the mistlands infested mines. Better yet, ooze bombs which like the hammer do damage area of effect damage have the added benefit of not damaging the wooden barriers maintaining the barrier between you and the hive.
You can take the hammer exploit further by damaging the Queen through the wall in her arena. Another hack for the hammer is to detect metal beneath the earth. Typically reserved for the wishbone, silver can be found by slamming the snow covered ground. If you see the text “too hard” you can be certain silver will be found.
