Quick answer
The first are in abandoned houses in the starting biome that, if you didn't know, take 13 unique forms. This seed gives you the best chance to find both early, having four of the wood house two structures and two of the six variant extremely close to spawn. things like your house in the distance if you've got one. These axe heads can be found randomly in abandoned houses throughout the meadows.
The taller dead trees in the swamp are indestructible, so they make for a very overpowered foundation to a treehouse base that's safe from almost every swamp creature. But don’t let the impressive visuals scare you, War Thunder uses its in house game engine to deliver a lag free experience even on lower end machines. Better yet, if you're lucky to find multiple geysers in one area, you can position your treehouse between them to increase the output of the farm. To maximize our stamina regeneration, like with the woodcutting strategy build an enclosure for protection but this time ensuring its large enough to house either a lox or asksvin for riding.
Like, so far, I really like the idea of using them as this like um like base foundation of a house. Man, they're [ ] up the house. Also, to answer a question that you might ask, [laughter] you might ask, I'm not showing you how to build the farmhouse. Let's come up to the house.
Building basics
Valheim and castles are a perfect match. I knew you guys couldn't stay away after the fun we had in the last video committing arsonist war crimes, weaponizing deforestation, and summoning the might of Thor. Second, beehives can appear within the houses at abandoned villages with a 20% chance in each of the main structures. As an alternative, this seed has one instance of each wood house two and six even closer to spawn with backup locations just a little further out than the previous seed.
Now, after building up my house, performance was actually okay. More specifically, the curious axe head can be found in Meadow's chest in Woodhouse 6, this tower looking structure. When choosing a treehouse base, location is key. Speaking of performance, something you absolutely do not want to do is house your tame creatures near the base where you’ll spend most of your time.
When growths spawn in the future, you can walk right up to them in their outhouses and poke them without them attacking you if the height is just right. The last step is to build a small treehouse for yourself between the spawner and your skeletons. And I feel like it kind of fits the vibe of like a Valheim house. This is the only thing I built in that other world is Koba's house.
How to build it
I've got a farmhouse with the portal as well as um uh a cooking like a kitchen sort of area, like a big, you know, cooking area. That is why today I am building castles for all seven Valheim biomes currently in the game. Well, we're going to keep it going with the mid-game biomes: swamp, mountains, and plains. 20% chance in the house ruin and 33% chance in the long house tower or great hall ruins.
But five or 6 hours later and you've spent a good few of the in-game days constructing your own house. Now, it's really cool that even doing something as simple as building your first house now gives you achievements inside of Valheim, which makes every little thing like this feel a lot more important. There's like a house here, guys. So, what we'll do here, this will be a storage section so that we can just store loads of honey instead of storing it in the house, you know, just keep it outside.
We're talking fresh designs, new ideas, and months of building and planning, all compressed into one video for your enjoyment. Starting off with the swamp, we've got the Ignis Aeternus, which apparently means really hot fire that will burn your skin. The deer kept attacking my house. So, first of all, this is probably going to get expanded at some point to be a two-story house once we have corewood stuff.
Best layouts
I'll take you through my process behind each project, but you got to promise you'll comment your favorite build down below. Anyways, when you think of the swamp, what comes to mind? For example, I put a fire within my house, which was essential for a few things like cooking, but it started to fill up with smoke. This is like it's centralized but also far enough away from that stuff to not constantly have it outside my house, which I can appreciate.
As always, this build file will be made available for download on the Smitty Survival Patreon page. Dark, wet, miserable, filled with muddy piles everywhere you go? That's like with inside of our house. And a huge thank you to those who continue to support the content.
Yeah, it's basically nature's way of telling you that you shouldn't be here. We're just going to put these in our house for now, but eventually the idea is to have a nice big village of all of these structures. Without further ado, grab a snack, grab a drink. So, naturally, who in their right mind would think to live in this ghastly biome?
Common mistakes
This will be like a blacksmith house. Vibrant, peaceful, and in my opinion, the heart of the Valheim build world. Let alone use fire to solve their issues. But going to set up our portal in this little house nearby.
Taking on the task of building castles in every biome is something that is a bit intimidating at first. Luckily, he quickly discovered that the local Surtling fires make for some excellent natural defense systems. And this is going to be our new house. Nevertheless, it's important to work on different creative muscles, and my castle building skills definitely needed some work.
And of course, the Surtling fire doesn't discriminate. Or not not our new house, but our new farm. For this meadows castle, I decided to keep it more humbly designed, utilizing a lot of rough stone and wood, limiting its footprints, but wanted to fit in with the more classic feel of the meadows. It'll even set trees on fire.
Tips
And then I also want to use I want to keep the house here, but change it. One thing that I actually really like about this castle is how the various segments of the castle aren't all parallel or perpendicular to each other. Who would think fire could do that? It's like you get coal and stuff delivered to your house.
Makes things a little bit more tricky to get all the different segments to blend, but it does make the overall composition look a little more interesting, even if it's not that big. Ignis Aeternus has great effectiveness and is quite creative, but it does require you putting your face in the most muddy biome directly up against a blatant fire hazard. It kind of looks like Squidward's house from Spongebob. before moving back to the front and making the decision to build a wall around my keep.
Now, before moving on, you might want to pick up a personal space violator from your local lion turtle. We may rebuild our uh we may rebuild our house if the timberwood looks really cool. Again, not a huge keep and nothing too flashy here, but wanted to make sure it felt lived in. This thing will come in handy for future defenses.
