Quick answer

So, there's ocean and seas on all sides, which makes it look very cool, and it also has a very cool queen spawn. Two new upgrades can be purchased from Haldor in deeper and wider pockets, each adding a permanent new row to your inventory, joining his shop after defeating Moder and the Mistlands Queen. For foods, I suggest deer stew, cooked bear meat, and the queen's jam. You can take the hammer exploit further by damaging the Queen through the wall in her arena.

Now, once you have slain the queen, you should go back to Howor. The Elder and Yagluth with four, and Bowass, the Queen, and Fodder with the most at five. Seventh of course is the queen which again drops 100% of the time after using a seal breaker to enter her citadel. But now the biggest thing that I need is the queen location.

Then we move on to the queen, her majesty. The Queen increases Eitr regen, removes stick stamina cost, and adds resistance to poison. To defeat the queen easily you can aggro her to the vestibule of her enclosure and using a two handed hammer to deal damage to her through the wall. Right, let's get our queen bees out.

Boss basics

This is my fight with Yagluth. Thank god that trash is over. With powerful new trinkets, a brand-new adrenaline system, not to mention, parrying now costs ZERO stamina – the best weapons in the game have changed significantly. And these are just the minimum distances, so you may have to travel way farther than that.

This was probably quite difficult, but the next biome, the Ashen Lands, will be much more difficult. There are many bad habits you have likely developed in your time playing Valheim that could be worsening your experience. However, there's a catch as you can literally destroy your items entirely with the system. Similarly, this is a common strategy used against the Queen where you can drop all kinds of eitr outside the porch of the queens arena while exploiting them with the hammer like discussed previously.

Valheim 1.0 and its last biome, the deep north, have been officially announced. While some bosses are relatively straightforward to find, Yagluth and the Queen are notoriously more difficult. And along the way, I also want to try and see if I can find Haldor and Queen. I thought that was quite an interesting one that that is something that they've added in for the queen.

Summoning requirements

And I'm going to do a commentary while I'm watching the video myself. Where's the Where's the stuff you get from the boss? Moder won’t be able to see you and shortly will land on top and WAMO, the pile of overlapping stakes will absolutely crush the queen dragon. The queen has the reverse problem where the only way to find her vegirere is within infested mines with none spawning in the overworld.

But in the meantime, I'm going to go look for the queen and more mines. As you can see, I'm walking up to the boss point here. Spent two hours on this [ ] [ ] Alternatively, they can be found occasionally inside debreer structures in the mistlands or in the secret rooms underneath the queen's infested citadel.

And this will be probably what we fight queen with. Um and I have already collected the statues needed to summon Yagluth. Now the last thing I need before queen is some really decent food. I am watching for mobs around the spawn point and clearing it before I start the boss fight, which is definitely recommended.

Fight strategy

We can start making better food and we can really start searching for queens soon. Again, as some of the other boss fights, Yagluth spawns at a point and he has a common line phase where you can hit him a lot. We need one more seal breaker fragment and a queen location. And this is what I do.

Queen is still going to be a really big piece of it. I hit him again and again. With the seal breaker completely made, this mine, one of the most difficult ones that I had to face this entire playthrough, started the chain of a very, very long search for Queen. And he as you can see, he loses about about 10% to 15% life.

And to meet that, I think killing queen by day 125 would be about perfect. As you can see, he lifts his left arm here and meteors come down. And even though that was quite efficient, it still was kind of demotivating how difficult it can be to find queens sometimes. The best place to be when he does this is behind a rock, uh behind uh Yagluth, so that the meteors come flying in from an angle where they will hit the pillar.

Rewards and drops

We're going to keep doing this till we find Queen. And this will be shown many times during this fight. Still have not found Queen in the slightest. And he also does a fire breath that does fire electricity damage, chop damage.

No queen, but we do have ourselves a uh good regular old mine which we are going to go for just as we would before. And as you can see here, another foolin came in and I finished him off quickly. That's got to have queen in it. I will do this like three times in the fight in general.

So, we need we need queen now, preferably. And I'm trying to get as much damage in on Yagluth. With the queen down, we can now start our preparation for the Ashlands. While I still have my potion slot.

Tips and mistakes

Now, I will say with the queen fight, her AI is still a little bit bugged, and I think that's something that maybe could be worked on in the future. And here he summons the meteors again. We beat Queen just in time for my time frame that I wanted. And as you can see they hit the giant pillar.

And It's it's one of the good ways to to really deal with Yagluth. It's not you shouldn't use a bow against Yagluth because he's resistant to piercing damage. So It's kind of a waste of time to do that. He is neutral to slashing damage and spirit damage which why which is why I used a silver sword against him because it had It's technically has the most damage.

Even though the black sword has higher slashing damage. Uh The silver sword has also a lot of spirit damage which is helpful for Yagluth. As you can see I'm I'm burning away his health. You can see setting him on sort of spirit fire.
