Quick answer
This is my fight with Yagluth. This practice can be extended to bosses like the Elder or Yagluth by spamming fires and circling him all while maintaining the fire durability with the hammer. Yagluth raises your farming skill, adds resistance to lightning, and increases your damage output. The Elder and Yagluth with four, and Bowass, the Queen, and Fodder with the most at five.
And Eight from Yagluth who is summoned by 5 fuling totems and always drops his trophy. Like with bonemass previously, there are cheesy methods to defeat both Moder and Yagluth but this time using bonfires. With the release of the Mistellands update, you can now keep boar, wolves, locks, and chickens as your own tamed pets in Valheim. By equipping the full harvester armor set purchased from hildir you increase this skill by 25 and since the recent call to arms update you can get another +25 by triggering yagluths forsaken power.
To defeat Yagluth easily setup near his tail as he unearths himself. Thank god that trash is over. With powerful new trinkets, a brand-new adrenaline system, not to mention, parrying now costs ZERO stamina – the best weapons in the game have changed significantly. And these are just the minimum distances, so you may have to travel way farther than that.
Boss basics
This was probably quite difficult, but the next biome, the Ashen Lands, will be much more difficult. Valheim 1.0 and its last biome, the deep north, have been officially announced. There are many bad habits you have likely developed in your time playing Valheim that could be worsening your experience. However, there's a catch as you can literally destroy your items entirely with the system.
Trinkets are Valheims newest equipable tool that provide massive boosts to your viking but you you’re going to have plenty of options on your journey. Valheim's three traders, Haldor, Hilde, and the Bogwitch, are crucial to getting a variety of useful and unique items in the game. Does this Viking survival adventure weather the storm or are the team going to Odin you a refund? This skill in Valheim is absolutely BUSTED when you achieve level 100.
Valheim has many weapons to choose from – but, which are best? You can fly this far using the momentum of the grappling hook. And I'm going to do a commentary while I'm watching the video myself. Bonfires like the campfires can be used to cheese bosses like Moder and Yagluth as well, by combining their powers with number 19 on this list we will cover in a bit.
Summoning requirements
Weak points have been added to some creatures, including the head of the troll, butt of the seeker soldier, and underbelly of the Yagluth. While some bosses are relatively straightforward to find, Yagluth and the Queen are notoriously more difficult. For Yagluth we take a similar approach and dig a shallow square of earth, again at a height shallow enough where a placed bonfire will just exceed the height of the hole. Where's the Where's the stuff you get from the boss?
Valheims latest updated added three brand new skills which are mega powerful at level 100! This, ladies and gentlemen, is hands-down one of the most fun and quite important items to get your hands on ASAP in Valheim 1.0. As you can see, I'm walking up to the boss point here. Often used by speedrunners, if you have some eitr handy, break its stack into individual items in your inventory before summing a boss like yagluth.
Yagluth's drop when defeating him is now the Torn Spirit, taking the place of a placeholder block years before. Yagluth, for instance, is harder to find simply because unlike preceding biomes, the plains doesn't have any dungeon instances where the Veggrair can be found. After the defeat of Yagluth, eggs becoming available at Haldors shop but, did you know you can get eggs far earlier and even without defeating the Plains boss? Spent two hours on this [ ] [ ]
Fight strategy
Um and I have already collected the statues needed to summon Yagluth. Yagluth similarly can be countered this way as we saw earlier by digging a hole and placing bonfires. Eggs can be purchased from Haldor's shop after beating Yagluth as well as buried at the base of the sealed tower. Based on those numbers, you can expect on average only 16 Yagluth vegges on any given map.
I am watching for mobs around the spawn point and clearing it before I start the boss fight, which is definitely recommended. Again, as some of the other boss fights, Yagluth spawns at a point and he has a common line phase where you can hit him a lot. And this is what I do. I hit him again and again.
And he as you can see, he loses about about 10% to 15% life. As you can see, he lifts his left arm here and meteors come down. The best place to be when he does this is behind a rock, uh behind uh Yagluth, so that the meteors come flying in from an angle where they will hit the pillar. And this will be shown many times during this fight.
Rewards and drops
And he also does a fire breath that does fire electricity damage, chop damage. And as you can see here, another foolin came in and I finished him off quickly. I will do this like three times in the fight in general. And I'm trying to get as much damage in on Yagluth.
While I still have my potion slot. And here he summons the meteors again. And as you can see they hit the giant pillar. And It's it's one of the good ways to to really deal with Yagluth.
It's not you shouldn't use a bow against Yagluth because he's resistant to piercing damage. So It's kind of a waste of time to do that. He is neutral to slashing damage and spirit damage which why which is why I used a silver sword against him because it had It's technically has the most damage. Even though the black sword has higher slashing damage.
Tips and mistakes
Uh The silver sword has also a lot of spirit damage which is helpful for Yagluth. As you can see I'm I'm burning away his health. You can see setting him on sort of spirit fire. And you can see here I'm having trouble with a foolin.
That is kind of a ranged spirit shocker. And I am trying to take care of him before I go in on the boss again. But decide that I might as well just hit the boss a few times and go behind the pillar. And I take care of the fooling.
Which means Yagluth is alone again. And the blue fire stays for quite a long time, which is why you need to move Yagluth out of it or you'll take continuous damage. And meteors also hurt a lot if you get if you get hit by them. It is a it's it's a pretty tough fight, but with a silver sword it's pretty easy.
